THE SPECTRUM CIRCLE AWARDS

We’re so excited to share that our Shero CEO, Shequeta Smith, has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 Spectrum Circle Innovation in the Arts Award.

It means a lot to be recognized for the work that Shequeta has been doing at the intersection of creativity and technology — especially in spaces that uplift women and girls of color through comics, gaming, and film. From building out the Shero Comics universe to launching SheroCon and developing new ways to teach storytelling through tech, Shequeta has poured so much heart into this work. To be honored by an organization as impactful as The Spectrum Circle is truly a full-circle moment.

The Spectrum Circle celebrates dynamic women leaders shaping the future in business, media, tech, and beyond, and I’m humbled to be included in this year’s class of awardees. This recognition fuels us to keep pushing boundaries and finding new ways to innovate in the world of creative tech.
