We’re excited to officially announce the launch of the Shero Talks Summer Bootcamp, a 6-week live virtual course for kids ages 7–12 who are ready to unleash their creativity and learn how to make their very own comic book!

Hosted by Shero Comics founder and award-winning creator Shequeta L. Smith, this exciting new program will guide kids step-by-step through the comic-making process — from designing original characters to writing, drawing, and completing their very first comic page.

Whether your child loves to draw, write, or just tell fun stories, this bootcamp is all about building creativity and confidence — in a fun, supportive space designed just for them.

How to create an original comic book character

How to build a world and plot for their story

How to write dialogue and layout comic panels

How to complete and share a one-page comic

Plus: tips and tools they can use even if they don’t know how to draw!
