It feels so good to finally say…SheroCon is back!!

After a six-year hiatus as a standalone event due to the pandemic (and a special collaboration with LA Comic Con in 2023), SheroCon officially returned this year at the incredible Valley Relics Museum at the Van Nuys Airport. Despite triple-digit temperatures, our Shero community came together for a day celebrating the amazing women changing comics, animation, gaming, film, and storytelling.

From our thought-provoking panels featuring some of the industry’s brightest creators and executives to the incredible artists and exhibitors in the Shero Alley, every part of the day was filled with inspiration, laughter, and new connections. We also introduced our first-ever SheroCon Pizza Crawl, thanks to the generous support of Greco’s Pizzeria and Antonio’s Pizzeria, while the Kona Ice Truck kept everyone cool with its delicious shaved ice throughout the day.

One of the most meaningful moments came when The She Angels Foundation joined us on stage to present Shero Comics with the grant that helped bring SheroCon back as a standalone event. It was a full-circle moment and a reminder that this convention is only possible because so many people believe in our mission to inspire the next generation of women creators.

We’re also incredibly grateful to our panelists, exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, photographers, videographers, and everyone who spent the day with us. Thank you to Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath’s Office, Los Angeles City Councilmember Nithya Raman’s Office, The She Angels Foundation, the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council, the Greater Valley Glen Neighborhood Council, Van Nuys Airport, Kamrock Entertainment, Queen of Mercia LLC, and Big Frog Custom Apparel of West LA for helping make SheroCon 2026 possible.

As much fun as we had looking back, we’re already looking ahead. Planning has already begun for SheroCon 2027, and we’re excited to return to our traditional home during Women’s History Month in March. It feels incredible to have SheroCon back, and if this year reminded us of anything, it’s that the future is bright and the sky is truly the limit.

Thank you for being part of the Shero family. We can’t wait to see you again in 2027.
