Last weekend was a busy one for the book of Rayven Choi during Korean conglomerate, CJ Entertainment’s annual KCon event at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Kcon, is one big celebration of Korean culture that features all things “Hallyu.” The audience consisted of around eighty thousand people who were thoroughly entertained by their favorite Korean celebrities, Kpop Bands, vendors and a plethora of yummy Korean eats.
We were super excited to be there with Rayven Choi and were overjoyed at the response that we got from the crowd! They LOVED Rayven Choi! During the event, we launched our new “Korean Girl Mafia” tee that’s featured in the upcoming Rayven Choi Chapter 3 book. The Korean Girl Mafia tee is now available in the Shero Comics Webstore.
Our Pussy Kills tee from Rayven Choi Chapter 2, and that’s now available in our Shero Comics Store, continued to be a bestseller. And we even sprinkled in some extra special celebrity inspired tees from our secret vault.
Celebrity Youtubers and Kpop and Kdrama Celebs were scattered throughout the building. We had a few well known visitors who stopped by the Shero Comics Booth. Super funny Korean based Youtuber, WendyBae came through and showed us love. We also had a popular Lego, Lloyd Garmadon, from the upcoming Ninjago movie.
Throughout the weekend, we were successful in launching our monthly “Shero Comics Sweepstakes” for those who were kind enough to join our newsletter. Our Shero Comics Sweepstakes rules are simple, if you’re subscribed to our Shero Comics newsletter, we will draw a random name from this list once a month that gets a prize. If you follow us on social media, your chances are increased as your name will get entered for each page you follow us on: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook.
We want to send a huge THANK YOU to all of you who checked us out at KCon. We also want to thank those of you who continue to show your support for Rayven Choi and Shero Comics by sharing it with friends, tweeting and retweeting about it and giving us five star reviews on Amazon, iTunes, Good Reads, Nook, Comixology and Kobo. Your reviews really help! If you haven’t given us one, please do!
